The Youth Partnership for Peace and Development (YPPD) Liberia is a youth-led non-governmental, not-for-profit making local organization founded in August 2008 by a group of young like-minded social activists (disabled and non-disabled) with the aim of bringing new inclusive, innovative and sustainable approaches for the development of youth and their communities in Liberia. We are legally registered with the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and accredited by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The organization was borne out of the desire of bringing young people on board who can serve as agitators and agents of change and activists in their respective communities for the promotion of advocacy and youth empowerment in nation building.

YPPD Liberia is working for and with grassroots disabled and non-disabled youth with diverse skills including partners and volunteers locally and internationally with structures and beneficiaries in rural areas across Liberia. We holds a conviction on young people as creative partners in development; thereby strongly believing that as young people, there is the call to build the buoyancy needed in others as a possible way of enabling youth in stepping forward for meaningful changes in their various communities and the world at large.
